WHAT IS THE BOB CONFERENCE?
Eleven years ago, five student ministry pastors gathered together for a couple days to encourage each other, have a little fun, and make a commitment to run and finish the race well. The commitment they made was three-fold:
- To have a laser like focus on discipling as many students as possible throughout the course of their ministry.
- To parent and raise their children in such a way that their children would want to turn the world upside down for Jesus.
- To cultivate a Christ honoring marriage that their children would want to one day emulate.
This year BOB will be held in Alaska and hosted by John Mark Harrison and Brent Crowe.
EXPERIENCE DETAILS:
August 5-9, 2024
- Begins: 2 PM August 5th in Anchorage, AK
- Group will meet up at airport to drive to Homer, Alaska
- Concludes: Evening of August 8th
- Group will drive the evening of the 8th back to Anchorageso some of you may be able to get a 1 AM flight on August 9th.
Registration FEE OF $1200 INCLUDES:
- Lodging during the BOB experience (August 5, 6, 7)
- Light Breakfast (Bars and Muffins in Room)
- Dinner
- Conference Costs
- Two Days Fishing
- All ground transportation
ATTENDEES RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Flight to/ from Anchorage, Alaska, airport code ANC (must arrive to meet group by 2 PM Monday)
- Typically ranges from $800 to $1400 unless you use points
- Lodging on 4th or 8th if needed due to flight arrival times. We suggest Courtyard by Marriott as they have a free airport shuttle.
- Lunch
- Fees to clean and package fish for return trip. You have two options: 1) you can either have then frozen and package for return trip on plane (more cost effective option) or 2) you pay to have them shipped home (little more pricey option)
SPECIAL NOTE:
Because the trip is limited to 12 people, if you are not attending, please let us know by September 15, 2023. A deposit of $100 is due at the time of registrations and final payment is due by May 10, 2024.
