SLU Chief Strategic Officer
Jeff Wallace serves as the Chief Strategic Officer (CSO) for Student Leadership University (SLU), a nationally recognized organization dedicated to equipping and developing student leaders. SLU empowers young people to think futuristically, make character-driven decisions, embrace biblical values, and lead through service.
A nationally respected author, communicator, innovator, thought leader, mentor, and life coach, Jeff is known for his dynamic and engaging communication style. His straightforward and illustrative approach has impacted thousands of students and leaders worldwide. With a deep commitment to cultural engagement, ministry, and leadership development, Jeff brings transparency, passion, and insight to every platform. His ability to inspire and captivate audiences makes him a sought-after speaker and an invaluable resource to churches and organizations striving for growth and impact.
Before joining SLU, Jeff served for over two decades at Peace Baptist Church in Decatur, Georgia, first as Pastor of Youth Development, overseeing children, students, and young adult programming, and later as Executive Pastor. He also founded Frontline Urban Resources, Inc., an organization dedicated to equipping leaders to engage diverse, evolving communities by reshaping traditional perspectives on urban ministry and culture.
Jeff holds a Master of Divinity from Indiana Wesleyan Seminary and a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Southeastern University. He has authored and co-authored multiple resources aimed at empowering youth leaders, parents, and students, including Urban Ministry from Start to Finish, Everybody’s Urban, Urban LIVE Curriculum, The Skinny on Communication, and 99 Things Every Guy Should Know. Additionally, he has contributed to The Simple Truth Bible, Reggie Joiner’s Creating a Lead Small Culture, and co-hosts the Chasing Elephants Podcast alongside Dr. Brent Crowe.
Over the years, Jeff has provided coaching, consulting, and cultural insights for organizations such as the North American Mission Board, LifeWay Christian Resources, GROUP Publishing, D6 Conference, Salvation Army, Youth Specialties, Urban Youth Workers Institute, Local Associations and Conventions, and Liberty University.
Jeff finds joy in life with his wife and best friend, Quovadis, and their three sons, Jeffrey (Daisha), Christopher, and Cameron.
