Elise Jessee

Elise joined Student Leadership University in 2026 as an Office Manager & Executive Assistant. Though she did not go through the program as a student, Elise had the opportunity to attend SLU 101 and 201 in the summer of 2026. Being able to watch the light of leadership come on for students was a monumental moment for her and made her fall further in love with the mission of SLU. She is passionate about equipping the next generation to be critical thinkers, pursuers of kindness, and champions of the Gospel.

Though she’s an Orlando local, Elise spent her middle and high school years enjoying life on the coast in New Smyrna Beach. She later returned to the area to earn her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida (go Knights!). It was during her time at UCF that she met her best friend and now-husband, Alec. After graduating, Elise spent a few years in the classroom as a middle school science teacher. She and Alec got married in May of 2025 and recently celebrated their first anniversary. They are active members of Metro Life Church in Casselberry, Florida, where they serve together on the worship team and lead a young adult community group

Elise is someone who truly embraces life with open arms, finding her greatest joy in sharing her passions with the people she holds dear. A natural host, she loves welcoming friends and family into her home, whether she is throwing a lively party or organizing game nights for her community group. Described as a creative individual with an old soul, Elise has numerous hobbies. She loves to scrapbook, bake, garden, sing, dance and be silly. On any given day, you can easily find her drinking coffee, listening to music, or playing with her beloved dog, Basher. She is so blessed to be a part of such an amazing team with SLU and is ecstatic to be a part of the story that helps inspire the leaders of the future!
