Dr. Jay Strack

SLU Founder- President Emeritus

41 (1)

Dr. Jay Strack has spent more than 45 years inspiring students, leaders, and organizations across America and the Middle East to unlock their potential through relational leadership and a confident ownership of a Biblical worldview.  His leadership is acclaimed at the highest levels, from addressing the NBA All-Star Chapel at Madison Square Garden and various NFL/MLB chapels to speaking to Fortune 500 companies, NASA, the U.S. Air Force Academy, and inter-denominational crusades across America. He has served in White House Faith Initiatives under First Lady Nancy Reagan, President George W. Bush, and, currently, President Donald Trump 45-47.  He is the author of 20 books, including The Power of One, and editor of three Bibles (True Love Waits, The Transformer, and IMPACT).

Jay continues to proclaim that anyone can step forward into a future of purpose. He has shared his story of God’s personal intervention over his drug addiction with more than 10 million people in high schools, colleges, citywide crusades, churches, prisons, and beyond.

Believing anyone can step into a future of purpose, Dr. Strack founded Student Leadership University and Youth Pastor Summit, pioneering innovative edutainment and behind-the-scenes access to global influencers.  SLU and YPS exist to equip students and their leadership with confidence in a sure Biblical worldview and to teach character through servant leadership.

Now, Jay has partnered with his alma mater, Charleston Southern University to create The Strack Center for Global Leadership and Ministry.  CSU offers academic credit for high school and college students seeking courses with a focus on three key areas: biblical worldview and apologetics, youth culture and ministry, and global leadership strategies.

From mentoring the next generation to engaging world leaders, Dr. Strack, known as “the relationship guy,” consistently builds bridges across cultures and faith through Matthew 6:33 – “Seek first the Kingdom of God and all these things will be added to you.”
