Wayne Stender

Wayne Stender serves as Chief Operating Officer at Celebrate Kids, Inc.. A graduate of the World Journalism Institute, Wayne previously served with the Colson Center for Christian Worldview, helping lead BreakPoint, and he has mentored students at Hillcrest Lutheran Academy for more than twenty years. He holds an undergraduate degree in Intercultural Ministries and Global Studies, which launched him into more than a decade of cross-cultural, missional work with teens. Wayne is currently completing a Master’s in Pastoral Counseling focused on child–parent relationships. Wayne and his wife make their home in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, where they purposefully and passionately invest in Hillcrest’s boarding school community while raising their eight children.
