Joe Hicks
Fuge Camps Manager
Originally from Big Spring, TX, Joe Hicks has been working in student ministry for over 35 years. He is a graduate of Baylor University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where his passion for ministry grew. He has been working full-time with Centrifuge since 1995 and with their summer camps since 1987. Besides serving with FUGE Camps, Joe has served on staff with TBarM Sports Camp, Jenness Park Camp, and SAMBICA Camp and Conference Center. Joe married Michelle in January 1990. They have three daughters, two son-in-laws, and two grandsons. His hobbies include riding motorcycles, fishing, and snow skiing. He also loves to collect and fly stunt kites. Fun fact: Joe was an avid pole vaulter in high school, with a personal best of 13’6”. He also competed against Billy Olson, an Olympic Champion.
