RJ McCauley

Over the past 18 years, RJ has served in youth ministry as a volunteer, leader, counselor, mentor, coach, teacher, and pastor. He got saved during his senior year in high school and never turned back on God’s calling for his life to build the kingdom of God! He served at Harvest Christian Fellowship where he learned youth evangelism (2003-2013) and then moved on to become the Student Ministries Pastor at Magnolia Church where he learned youth discipleship (2013-present). After graduating from Riverside Community College with an A.S. in Architecture (2007), God called him out of the “industry into the ministry” to build lives instead of buildings. He started a new journey at California Baptist University with a B.A. in Christian Ministries (2011), attended the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (2013-2018), and graduated from Tim Keller’s City to City Los Angeles church planter program (2019-2022). He will obtain a Masters of Theological Studies to begin a Doctorate of Ministry at Gateway Seminary. RJ’s experience has given him the opportunity to help other youth workers win as a Download Youth Ministry Ambassador, and lead a new youth movement through CSBC Youth that hosts annual youth evangelism conferences and youth discipleship events for 2400+ churches in California. RJ has been married to his wife Melissa for thirteen years, and they have a beautiful daughter named Emma Rose.
